Yes, please post a review when you get it, Randy. I'm intrigued by its unusual design, but wonder if it really offers any advantages. Thanks!

Mr. A.
you know i will, should be here by friday and i can use it that night on a small little blues gig.
The Trick is still a prototype that was being used for promotional photos and is not yet available. Mike, who owns Trick stopped by to get our thoughts on it.
The cam is adjustable, and is in a couple regards, similar to an Axis.
Thanks, Randy and Brad.
The Boa concept is a great one.
Again, it is totally silent and
has a univeral cam but I could
not get the best action, as it
was set-up. I am hoping that
Randy will get it right and
that it CAN be set for that
killer response.
I am going to go out there,
Brad. I have to call them.
Btw, Brad - Do you guys have
the Boa in stock?

pedal came today, at first glance, it's feels great. does not come with a case though. will try it on the gig friday.
Keep us posted Randy - thanks
P.S. Did you guys notice the clever double pedal/hi-hat setup in the photo? The hi-hat "stand" is on the INSIDE of the pedal rather than the out. Very cool.
P.S. Are they made in Mexico?

i decided not to wait until tomorrow..........set the pedal up here at the studio and all i can say is AMAZING. this pedal is even smoother then my 9000, much easier to adjust then a 5000-9000 pedal.
There is a sprocket type of adjustment for setting the beater angle, using the provided key, it adjusts just like the tilter on a DW cymbal stand.......
out of the box, this pedal needed no real tensioning adjusts.

i will report more over the weekend, but wanted to report on the first run.
get one!
Randy,
That's great. Let us know
what you think and if you
can adjust it to extremes
and inform us as to any
difficulties.
You are the man!

Oh, OK, Randy! LOL!
No worries! Thanks!

Hey Chris, I've been doing the slave pedal outside the hihat for a long time, I like the hihat kind of close to the snare. I figure you play the hihat alot more than the slave pedal, so why not put that where it needs to be, and position the slave around it? You should try it, I've converted several friends to that set up over the years.
